About

The Nash Brothers are an Irish Rock band paving a path to the top with their mix of growling vocals and dark guitar-driven music. Their character based lyrics are set to a heavy bedrock of folklike melodies and stomping rhythms.

Having recently launched their debut EP both in Rio De Janeiro and in Dublin at The Button Factory late August 2015, the band are preparing for an upcoming tour of the UK and Europe by performing a number of select concerts around Ireland. With TV performances, a tour of Brazil and a string of shows in Norway under their belt, the last 12 months has been non-stop for the four-piece.

Born in Waterford and now living in Cork, brothers Daniel and Patrick Nash have been writing and performing together for over a decade. Joining forces with drummer Darren Jennings and bassist Fintan McKahey, who hail from the wilds of West Cork, has seen the band develop a unique signature sound.

In 2014, The Nash Brothers headlined the televised Miss Brasil beauty pageant in Rio de Janeiro, receiving widespread acclaim and the opportunity to perform extensively across Brazil. The band’s success in South America led to the recording of their debut EP at the world-renowned Biscoito Fino Studio in Rio de Janeiro. The EP was recorded by Grammy nominee Gabriel Pinheiro and mastered by Grammy winner Luiz Tornaghi.

The next 12 months will see the band performing at festivals and writing songs for the much anticipated debut album. Keep an ear to the ground for the Nash Brothers in 2016.
